Pool monitor/attendat must be CPR/First Aid certified prior to their first day of work.
Pool Monitors will be trained and provided with the means to succeed at their job. A Pool Monitor must have:
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
Working knowledge of the operations of pool day operations.
An awareness of and ability to enforce the policies of the company.
Learned how to assist in setting up and breaking down the aquatic site.
Dedicated to work for the general maintenance and improvement of the Department.
Pool monitors will also be required to know and execute general procedures associated with the pools. This includes, but not limited to:
Assisting with injured participants
Assisting with unruly participants/parents
Documenting incidents, accidents, and injuries as they occur.
Acknowledging and working with the evaluations of a Supervisors.
Being able to identify violations of the Pool policies and procedures, and being willing to notify a Supervisor of such infractions as they occur.
